How we got our start:

Wallpusher creates handmade sculptural guitars and innovative leather accessories engineered as tools for musicians. Started out making a bass to gig with, and then a guitar strap, and it kept growing from there. Inspiration for our straps came from a classic gigging experience: Founder Matthew Rogers found that fast, technical melodies were far easier when the bass was positioned up near the chest, but more comfy when low at the waist. He teamed up with wife Margot, and the artisan couple designed a better solution.

What makes our products unique:

After testing all the available options, we realized nobody cracked the code on a adjustable guitar strap that works during play. So we designed our fast height strap: It’s easy to use with a mechanism that allows the musician to switch between two positions instantly. The sculptural guitars we create also have many custom innovations created to make playing easier. The design that happens at Wallpusher is about the intersection of the aesthetic and functional, with the purpose to make things that we believe should exist; things that are not only beautiful, but also offer new solutions.

Why we love what we do:

We are an artisan couple classically trained in woodworking and leather working. We believe that things have personality, just like people. We create things that are made to wear in, not wear out. All our products are carefully crafted to grow in character and value as they wear in over time.
